While online casino players in the US are preparing for the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) to be overturned, a UK company has developed a payment processing plan that can replace credit card companies and banks.
The UC group is a UK-based payment processing company. SecureTrading is the name of their US subsidiary and it was created so that it can handle all online casino transactions within the US. The company remains confident that the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) will be overturned and payment processing for online casinos can resume.
SecureTrading was developed because the online gambling market in the US is anticipated to be very high. The UC group plans to use Secure Trading in order to take advantage of that market. They believe that being prepared to commence business as soon as online gambling is legalized in the US will put them ahead of other companies. This way, once online gambling goes live, their US clients will be able to sign on and begin playing right away.
Many state representatives in the US are confident that online gambling will be legalized soon and have put up a valiant fight for the rights of US citizens. Now, however, the hard work is done and all that is left to do is sit back and wait for the decision to be made.
