Popular online casino developer PlayTech has just announced the launch of a new online poker network. Targeted towards French players, the network’s first operator will be Chili Poker, a popular brand throughout the online gamblnig world.
As the months progress, more operators will be added to the network. PlayTech hopes to truly diversify its roster of licensees, as land-based operators like JOA and Groupe Tranchant will also be welcomed aboard. With a wide range of partnerships, PlayTech’s new network will become a force to be reckoned with, expected to compete with 888 and Microgaming’s recently launched poker network.
Chili Poker has a great deal of knowledge about France’s online poker network, and the company feels that it will bring valuable expertise to its new partnership with PlayTech. Together, the two online poker providers hope to create one of the biggest online gaming networks in the country.
The initial move into France’s online gambling market was quite slow, as operators were hesitant about the country’s online gambling regulations. However, as the value of France’s online gambling industry becomes more apparent, an increasing number of online casino and online poker operators are looking to find a way to obtain French customers.
PlayTech and ChiliPoker anticipate that their joint effort will be a huge success. With the vast number of operators entering the market, however, it may be a long time before the new network obtains a substantial market share.
