Nokia Online GamblingNokia, a Finnish phone company, has designed a smartphone that they say will be perfect for customers who enjoy gambling online, but not necessarily from home. The new X3 Touch and Type boasts the ability to connect to the internet from anywhere, even where there isn’t an established connection.

The X3 is touchscreen and has a full keypad that allows players all the advantages of a computer with the flexibility of a mobile device. This new phone is Nokia’s first with a touchscreen and executives are excited about moving forward with their technology and joining the competition for mobile online gambling.

Like so many other smartphones, the X3 also features MP3 capabilities along with an FM stereo, 3GB of memory, a five megapixel camera with 4 times zoom technology that allows for still pictures as well as video. And as always, Nokia strives for affordability so that people with almost any income can have the benefits of new technology without paying a hefty price tag.

The X3 will go on sale at the end of 2010 and consumers can expect to pay 125 Euros for it, excluding taxes and any promotions from cell phone service providers.

Other cell phone companies will likely begin to develop smartphones with internet capabilities as mobile internet gambling begins to pick up. As with online gambling, the idea seems to be taking flight in Europe.
