New Hampshire LotteryNew Hampshire’s state lottery has announced that they will offer online gambling options as early as next week. Many US states are wrapped up in their own private battles concerning legalized online gambling and New Hampshire has managed to stay out of the news.

The state has kept quiet about where they stood on the online gambling debate and probably with good cause. While other states are battling it out publicly, New Hampshire has quietly decided to move forward with legalized online gambling.

The site, called playnowNH.com, will offer gamblers the chance to play online bingo, various slots games and poker in the comfort of their own homes. The state’s senator said he is happy with the decision and excited at the prospect of receiving some much-needed funds for the state.

While some people are unhappy about the decision to allow online gambling in the state of New Hampshire, the general consensus is that this is a good thing. Not only will the state receive extra revenue generated from taxing the industry, but New Hampshire citizens will also be allowed the opportunity to choose their gambling outlet. Some people really prefer to gamble online and avoid the commute to and from a casino, the crowds and any line-ups at their favorite games.

Other US states still enthralled in the battle are hoping that this will cause more and more states to legalize online gambling in the near future.
