Provincial governments across Canada are individually looking into the option of offering online gambling websites to Canadian players. Many people have said it is too late for lotteries to take a share of the offshore gambling market, so they have devised a new plan – a mobile gambling application.
 
Partnering with Loto-Quebec and Atlantic Lottery, B.C. Lottery Corporation will create an online gambling network accessible to players from their smartphones. Although only three companies are on board right now, B.C. Lottery is expecting others to join, namely Ontario and Manitoba.
